User Info

Is there any way to update your userinfo, I for example, would like to change my e-mail. When I created my profile here I selected a hotmail adress wich I never use, I always do that when I register something online, just in case.. You never know if you are going to get tons of junk-mail or not..
But now I want to change my e-mail to my "real" adress.. How do I do that? :)

To change your email, you got to contact [email protected] with your old and new contact info to have your record updated.

oh.. thanks, perhaps in the future, you could do this on the website? Would save us all alot of trouble! ;)

I had the same question and stumbled upon the answer. If you go to www.wincustomize.com (run by Stardock apparantely)they use the same log in as here. The bonus is that you can also edit your user info including e-mail, nickname, etc. Just log in with your Gal Civ info and click "edit account" at the top of the page.

I verified that it worked because I changed my nickname to Joe M. at wincustomize and it appears as such here. :)

I went over to www.customize.com and tried to change my Nick (Steve Gibson is a pretty lame screen name), but the option to change the Nick is unavailable :(

I just checked and the option is there for me. It's NOT near you nickname (like change e-mail which is right under your e-mail address). It's the first set of optional settings ABOVE your user info:

themes manager
fonts manager
upload/edit your desktop image
CHANGE YOUR NICKNAME

Take another look.
