Currently on the needles
This is what I'm currently working on:
If you look at it straight on, it looks like a plain old purple and black (those are the colors I'm working with) striped scarf. When you look at it from an angle, however...the skull and crossbones can be seen. My daughter's school has banned any attire or accessories bearing the skull or crossbones image, so she's quite excited about my making this for her - she thinks she's going to be sticking one to the school and the dress code, and in a way she will be.
On my travels around the internet I've come across some patterns that have made me scratch my head and say "why??". Some people knit the strangest things....like this little beauty, for example:

It's a uterus. Yes, a uterus. A knitted womb. Why would someone knit a uterus (complete with fallopian tubes and ovaries)? I really don't know.
And then there's this:

A man-thong. I'm not even going to comment on that; I don't think it's neccessary.
The last time I checked, wool shrank when you washed it or got it wet.

If it IS wool, then it's going to be very uncomfortable and scratchy on someone's lady-parts. If it's NOT wool, it's going to sag as soon as it gets even slightly damp. Again, I don't know why.
I'm going to leave you with this darling little project:

Again, I don't really know what to say 'bout that....
