"While it’s true that this is a space-themed game where the ultimate goal is conquest of the galaxy, the play style is clearly more reminiscent of Sid Meier’s Civilization 2..."

Civ2 is my all time favorite game. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. And I sure ain't no kid. LOL

i like the fun fact on the side where it read "a random event caused ai's to scamble for a few planets and caused some wars"

It was a great review/interview and makes the wait for the game seem even longer. LOL

One of the screenshots shows AI setup, and two of the AIs are listed as "chaotic" (one chaotic good, the other chaotic evil). What does this mean? Is an order/chaos axis now in the game in addition to good/evil?
No, Chaotic good/evil is viewed as intermediate between neutral and pure good/evil (respectively).

I like how the Senate involves itself in your decisions- so this implies that losing control of the senate means you MAY NOT be able to attack other ships due to not being able to declare war. EXCELLENT! I LOVE IT! Do they also sometimes negotiate for peace without your say? Or accept agreements you wouldn't normally want to aceept? That would be cool too.

Am I the only one who saw a Sideshow Bob reference in Brad's comments about "attempted" fraud?
