Ubisoft has had another Internet headache today with a posting of a 2-gigabyte file on a public area. The file, since removed, contained artwork, logos and screenshots for announced and unannounced games including FarCry 2 which was also shown thru a tech demo.

"We are clearly displeased that confidential information from Ubisoft has been distributed on the internet," said a representative for Ubisoft.

"The publication of this type of information can only be harmful to the game development process and we will take all steps necessary to prevent this from happening in the future."

Titles detailed in the file include the follow:

Assassins Creed

Far Cry 2

Far Cry PSP

Far Cry Wii

Lost

Naruto 360

Open Season

Prince of Persia 4

Rainbow 6: Vegas

Rocky PSP

Splinter Cell Conviction

Surf's Up

Star Wars PSP

Shaun White Snowboarding

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles GBA

You know, this stuff actually happens all the time. Publishers will routinely put confidential information on their public FTP servers where anyone can access it, then cry foul when someone does.
