Have never been able to successfully submit a game...

Started with original version of GalCiv, then upgraded. Now starting to assume I have overlooked something very basic, or just have a wrong setting somewhere. Is there a truly braindead checklist I can go through to find out why the connection is failing?
Thanks,
Steve

Thanks for looking it up. I'm happy to finally be there, but puzzled why I am only receiving error codes like "send test failed".

I never thought to disregard the error message and look for results under my handle in the metaverse anyway.

Yes, certainly, welcome to the metaverse. I'm glad you got your scores submitted ok.

I always get the "Send test failed" message if I press the submit button more than once. I click the OK button and the regular message comes up. (The regular message also has an error code, but it's 0, which is programmer-speak for no error. That can be confusing.)

The send test doesn't necessarily mean that the score won't submit. I ended up taking that out because it wasn't giving me any useful data and was just causing the submit time to take longer. I also took out the feedback message entirely because even if the send code didn't give any error codes, it sometimes didn't work.  So that's the way it is in Altarian Prophecy currently, and will be that way in 1.2.

I could hide the submit button after you click on it.

I think it would help :) . I usually click, and as nothing ever changes, after a few seconds I start doubting myself: have I clicked or missed the button by some pixels. But I'm afraid to click again and make something go wrong :notsure: . At least if the buton disappears I know I clicked and just need to do the waiting part before checking the metaverse.
