System Requirements for Galactic Civlizations?

What are the "minimum" system requirements for this game?

What are the "recommended" system requirements for this
game?

Also and related...do you need a fancy 3d graphics card or will an ati 3d rage pro 8 meg do enough?

btw..this is the sad computer i have.

Just someone tell me if i can play the game...

I should have asked this first.

I have a pii 400
256 meg memory
directx 8.1b
8 Meg video card- ati rage pro 3d

since it is turn based...i guess i could play it even
if it were very slow..it's mainy the memory and video card i'm concered with ...well that is unless it needs
a piii 800 or something and the game will be unplayable
due to slowness.

so..anyone know? :)

I played it on a Celeron 300Mhz and 256 mb memory and I played a large galaxy without much problems! At the end of the game (many ship movements) it would take about 30 seconds for the computer to do its moves.

I don't see that as much of a problem, put if you are lacking in patience you could play a smaller map och upgrade somewhat. :)

I don't think 56MB will run the game. I have my system monitors up when I play it and I get a sense that it needs 73MB just for the game. (Add system requirements, and you are probably up to the 128MB listed in the requirements.)
