Problems With ED and CorelDraw12

The default ED settings (ie just after installation) make CorelDraw12 crash when opening/saving files. OK, so I can fiddle with the ED settings and CD12 doesn't crash, but now all file dialogs are a mess. So I can exclude CD12 from ED, but the CD12 file dialogs are still trashed. So I can uninstall ED (and yes restart afterwards), but the CD12 dialogs are still trashed. Anyone got a solution? Preferably one that doesn't involve resinstalling Corel Draw?

Did you, or your comp set a restore point before the installation?

In a pinch, you could roll back to that and your CD12 settings shouldn't be hosed.

There may be someone along with a better solution though.

Good luck!

I have the same problem. Only it is worse than described above.
Just after installing OD and Enh Dialog, When I access any dialog box in Corel Draw 12 or X3 (13), Corel crashes. I can play around in Corel until I have to access a dialog box. Then--crash! EVERY TIME.

I tried a restore point. That did not work. I have uninstaled Draw 12 and X3, Uninstalled every piece of Stardock software--WB, Oobjectdock, everything! Deleted everythign I could find that is related to Stardock.

I then installed X3 again and guess what! SAME PROBLEM EXISTS!!
This is serious. I am dead inthe water because I use CorelDraw for 75% of my work.

I NEED AN ANSWER HERE!!!

STARDOCK-- YOU MUST ANSWER - None of this 48 hours stuff!! I need to get back up NOW!!

Please Help!!

Just in case someone looks here. I solved the problem. Nothing to do with the Enhanced Dialog. Actually to do with microsoft powertoys Tweak UI:

If you uncheck anything on the common dialogs-settings (i.e. 'Enable AutoComplete', 'Remember previously-used filenames', and 'Show Back button on file open/save dialog') the Corel file dialogs will be trashed and eventually crash. Having all three checked seems to prevent the problem (for me anyway)
