Seeking asylum

Hi guy's.
I'm a refugee from the moo3 forums. I've just bought the drengin network and I CANNOT wait till GC is released. :) Too bad i'm just too late for the beta download. (:(
But I was wondering about the 2 other games that came with it. Is that also something you can download when it's released? and when?

Well..that's it. Happy to be here. This place seems a little bit friendlier then the official moo3 forum.

Oh another question I forgot.
This is more the betatesters.. Is this game FUN? Or is is more 'serious' like moo3?
And if it is fun, can someone please give some examples?

Thanx.

Fun! Much much less micromanagement (yes I know you don't have to micromanage MOO3) and details.

As for the other games,
The Corporate Machine is a fun strategic business game. Very good, very enjoyable and can be played online against other players.

Stellar Frontier is a massively multiplayer space shoot em up. it's based in teh GalCiv universe(same races). Good fun, can be played single play (more fun online though), look out for lots of immature childish kids playing though!

Lightweight Ninja is a platform game. Good fun but doesn't appeal to me much. Worth playing afew times though.

BUGS is an arcade shoot em up. Good fun but again not something I really enjoy.

Paul.

Having not played Moo3, I cannot be exact in comparision, but the game is fun to play for sure, and the AI is reasonable good (I usually win at Smart setting in Beta - second highest, but Gamma is said to be tougher ;) ).
It allows you to micromanage planets if you tend to, or have it done automatically through pre-defined queues (which, I believe, is commonly used option :), there is no ship design (which is good, as the ship design made moo1 and 2 too easy ...). From my point of view, there is much more focus on diplomacy and economy than usually in such kind of games...
And, at least for me, it has really the "one more turn" appeal. My girlfriend does not appreciate it too much, though ;)
BTW, the Corporate machine is fun, if a little "light" real-time economic game... Dont expect it to be Capitalism 3, but for sure it is good and fun game.
BTW, welcome on board... ;)
