The reason I ask is although I am sure you're Stardock ap is great. I will be needing to use public computers as I will be dumping my Internet service entirely due to it being too distracting from my work. (Fiction and non-fiction writing). So like others I am sure I will need to be able to log on from say a Kinkoes Coppiers or a library computer on occation. Or it might be more convienient to have ZDNets www.gamespot.com burn a disk option to dump the updates along with some demos and other patches onto a disk and mail it to me.

Hope not. The library computer labs are very busy all day here in Tacoma WA with people that who can not afford Internet service, yet I see quite a few of them brousing the game sites. Besides proprietary support system would likely be reviewed in a bad light as pro game reviewers comment. "You will have to install additional publisher software if you want game updates." :notsure:
