Are there animation in GC?

Hallo to all GalCiv-Fans

as a fan from moo2 and moo3 (i just waiting vor the patch:), I was very disapointed about the spreadsheet charakter of moo3. I love the small animations in moo2, if I colonize a planet, or the galactic-news, rotating planets and so on. It makes me think, i am in a "living" universe with a soul.

My question: In GalCic, are there any animations too, or is it static (like Galactic Empire IV)?

AFAIK, yes, Galciv has animations/cutscenes.

And BTW, Moo1 also had neat small anims ...(I think GNN News robot IS a Moo1 invention !)

Dzien Dobry, Rolfo, I'm from Holland and have a Polish Wife

Already in the beta there are animations/cutscenes and as far as I understand in the Final release and/or the bonus pack there are many more.

There are a lot more cut scenes in the release compared to the beta version, a couple of minutes more.
