Digital Illusions CE Canada has joined the ranks of Westwood Studios and Origin Systems by being both bought and then closed down by Electronic Arts. But karma has run full circle with many of the studio's former employees opting to found a new development studio, Red Jade, instead of opting to entertain the "positions at either EA Canada or elsewhere" that were offered to them.
The firm boasts that it created numerous titles under the Battlefield franchise and will work on PC and next-gen consoles. Red Jade's website contains a few snippets of what we can expect, including their goal of providing "art and animation services for the global game development industry.
