'Postal 3' In The Works

Developer Running With Scissors has announced a sequel to the controversial Postal franchise, following up the critically-panned Postal 2 with the franchise's third iteration. Running With Scissors has stated that the title is in its preliminary stages, but we do know that they have shifted from the Epic Games' Unreal engine to Valve's Source engine and development is focused on PC and Xbox 360.
One Postal 3 feature that is certain to make the release is a series of training missions to help get the player familiar with the world. Running With Scissors head Vince Desi stated that the feature is being added based on fan-feedback since, "A lot of things went undiscovered in Postal 2."
Desi also reiterated that Postal 3 is still in its preliminary stages and shouldn't be ready for release until mid-late 2008. Even so they already have a publisher/distributor in Russian-based Akella.
