Download w/out disk?

I've been playing Galciv2 for about 3 months, without registering my serial number. Last month, I uninstalled the game temporarily to free up some space on my computer. Yesterday, I went to intsall the game again with the 2 discs but my disc #2 has gone missing.
I have the serial number, disc #1, Stardock Central, and an account here but I have had no luck finding the feature that allows you to download your game without the disc installation.
If anyone knows a solution to this dilemma, could you please post a link or any advice.

Double post sorry...

I also tried contacting Tech Support but that was early yesterday morning and no response has arrived yet.

Looking through the forums, I see posts about how to deal with errors in downloadig the game but not with how to download it, and from where.

It's pretty simple - here's how:

- Fire up SDC and log in with your forum account, if you didn't put it in when you installed it.

- Go to the Tools menu, choose Register Products.

- Pick the Games section on the left, then on the 'Product' menu on the right, find GC2.

- Enter the email address for your forum account, and your serial number. Make sure you use the one that is 28 digits with no dashes (you may have also gotten a "Collector's Edition" serial that begins with GC2-; that one is for extra content and is not used for registration).

- Click Register, then close the Register Products dialog to get back to the main screen of SDC.

- Select Games on the left. GC2 should appear on the right under the heading 'Purchased Products'.

- Select GC2 and click the install button, and you're all set. You may also need to click the [+] next to it and install the sound, video, and tutorial packages if you want them (otherwise you'll just get the core game itself with the minimum download needed to play).



If you only got one serial and it's a Collector's Edition serial, or if you get an error when you try to register, see the stickied thread about Registration/Activation problems.

Hi Guys,
I just can´t download the game!
I borrowed the game from a friend earlier and it appeared under the games-section in stardock. But I prefer "original" games, so I unistalled this version and tried to download the english one(which i bought online from stardock).
I did evertyting Kyro mentioned, but I don´t get the 'Purchased Products' list or anyting, just a list with demos.

You should have received more detailed directions for downloading the game after you purchased it. If you are still having problems after carefully following those directions, contact [email protected] for further assistance.

Oh, I tried so hard that I forgot the initial problem o_O
I can´t log in with my stardock account, it keeps telling me that it is already in use.
(everyting is correct, I just tried to log in online)
So I used my galciv2 account...

Hmmm now it works!! (and I didn´t change anything)
Seems to be like windows: don´t ask why, just be happy
