Question: Start Metaverse game on one comp. and finish on another?

Hia everyone, new(ish) player with possibly dumb question:

I have started a Metaverse game on my computer at home few days ago. I am going to be away for a couple of weeks and would like to transfer the current save game to my laptop (so that I can play when bored in the hotel.....)
If I finish the game on my Laptop, will Metaverse still accept my submission or treat it as a 'cheat'?

It worked for me in two occasions, with 1.0x and 1.1 games. I doubt there has been much changes to that thereafter.
