Saving ship designs

If I made some ships I like on someone elses computer, what files should I copy and put on my computer if i want to use them on mine? or is this even possible?

and about the upgrades, stardock doesnt actually have any way of knowing if youre the main user of the computer? or..?

User designed ship are saved in My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2\Ships.
Copy the .xml and corresponding .shipcfg files. I am not sure if both are needed, but I have them both in my Ships folder. And if they rely on mods, make sure the mods are also on the destination computer.
