We went to church today--it is Sunday, after all--The youth of our congregation conducted the entire service. I was impressed. The young man who sang three solos had a strong tenor voice and sang with such feeling that it made me believe that there is hope for the future of our world. He was probably a high school junior at our arts high school. I think he could have a great career in music. A group of kids put on a short play using the dragnet theme. They did well but their timing was off. Then a group of young ladies danced a type of ballet, although I think it was more of a modern dance with the wind or something. Another group played the bells which was lovely, and about fifteen teens played in an orchestra for the closing and communion. I was impressed and glad I attended. Everytime we go, we find something new. We should go more often, I think.
