The feature I really like about GALVIC is the constant updating of the AI. Too often after a game is released it ceases to be a challenage after about a few months when the player finds the perfect strategy, and perhaps the only strategy, to secure victory.

GalCiv promises to offer new and harder challanges as the AI is updated to reflect lessons learned its players. This is especially true since each of the AIs do not follow the same strategy in each game.
