Dregin Net interface or SD Central

Is the Dregin Net GUI/interface going to be dropped in favor of SD Central?

Just trying to get in a later message than Brad. ;)

But I am sure it will be a futile attempt.

I may have asked this already, but I can't find the thread. I am curious if you are expecting GalCiv to significantly increase sales of your other products, like ObjectDesktop? I know I didn't know about them before I visited the site to look at GalCiv, so I am curious because I am a nosey busy body. 8^)

Btw, since the clock is counting down now, perhaps you should be asking some posters to be fanboys and others to be "trolls". Kind of get you ready for the inevitable degeneration of the forum for the first month or so.

Usenet/forums where everyone has an opinion which is absolutely positively right, must be advocated with fanatical zeal and all differing opinions crushed. (sigh)

I don't think you'll see much either way. The game is what it is.

In my view, fanboys and trolls get created when a game isn't what some people wanted while it is exactly what others wanted. I think enough people know what GalCiv is and isn't that no one is going to be shocked.

Of topic and the wrong forum the only thing that bothers me about SDCentral is it does not look like you can download an application without installing it.

I like to keep backups of older versions.
This has happened in the past I download something like Windowblinds it does not work. So I uninstall the program and install a older backed up version.

The latest SDC builds have a Download & Archive option on the RMB menus for the components.

You'll have to Restore the archive to "install" the component when you're using that methodology.
