Goodbye Ed Bradley and Gerald Levert
They become a part of your life because you know you can listen to them and trust that they are giving you information that is solid and worthwhile for you to know; you are listening to their music and you love the way they sing, make you feel good and just admire in general. They become people you get to know over the years just because of who they are and the career they have.
Last week two of those people I know but I don't know personally died. I had no idea that they were ill. Ed Bradley, CBS Journalist, who many may know because of his co-reporting role on CBS' 60 Minutes on Sunday nights. He was 65 years old.

Gerald Levert was an R&B singer, a very soulful one at that. I loved his music and admired him because of his love for his craft and how much of himself he put into being who he was to his fans. He was very entertaining to watch when he performed. He was 40 years old.
Wikipedia has a detailed biography about him:Link and I found another link that for those interested in hearing his songs, theres a YouTube recording at the end of this link: Link
Goodbye Ed Bradley, goodbye Gerald Levert, you both made wonderful contributions to our world and you will be missed by your fans.
