Wapon graphics different when fighting star bases than ships

When I have a ship fighting a star base the weapon graphics are different for my ship than when it is fighting enemy ships. The weapon graphics fighting starbases are way cooler too.


Also, why are my forum posts disappearing?

What posts are missing? Are you sure you're just not overlooking them, since the forum is quite busy right now?

@ uglycow: thats normal, its about the animation

you could see the weapon as a flying mesh between 2 points the starbase has a greater distance then when you fighting just ships, they are smaller and longer right? cause they are stretched. This seem to be unavoidable by this Animations =o). Some of the weapongraphics I've made for DA has shown this too =o) but I tried it that they look good in both ways =o)

Heck yeah! But sometimes the weapons look like the original GalCiv2 weapons when fighting ships. They look better when fighting starbases. But after I posted this topic they started looking similar in both. I must be going crazy. As far as posts I think are dissappearing, one post I did was about the battle viewer freezing and how to fix it. I think that went away. But I'm probably not looking hard enough on the forums. At any event this game seems to be far ahead of beta.
