Metaverse Down?

Can't login in game; Error screen on website

Can anyone else access the Metaverse? The Library and Metaverse links on the website are returning errors. When I load up the game, the Metaverse server returns an unrecognized response.

The metaverse is down for me too. And I want to play! I'm pretty new to GC2 - does this happen often?

The metaverse hasn't been updated for over 24 hours now (5th of Feb here in Oz) is the metaverse down again? Or are they doing work to it in prep for Dark Avatar?

Hmmmm, I just noticed there are a few scores that don't align with peoples ranking. (namely mine )

Very good question. That could explain why we haven't heard that the DA gold bits are starting to roll out to the early pre-order folks.

Probably related less to DA as to the server-shuffling that happened the other day. I'll send the web guys this way tomorrow.

Silly metaverse and it's damn additictiveness (I mean WHY do I REALLY want that Top 25 badge? I mean really???)

It would appear that the metaverse is still down, as my score and standing has not yet been updated. Is anyone else experiencing this at the moment?

I haven't had a chance to have a good look at the ladder and see if there are other anomalies or if this is a solo treatment?

Kryo any news from the Stardock web team?

Andrew was unable to access the likely cause of the problem, so unfortunately, it will have to wait until T-Man gets back next week.

No hassles, thanks a ton for looking into it for me Kryo.

It kinda sucks really, as I am now placing the finishing touches on a game I am hoping will jump me into the top 25, but I don't really know if I am on target because we have now missed a fortnight of score degradation on the metaverse...

I assume the metaverse is on some sort of pause or they are working on integrating scores from DA now that DA is up and running in an official version...

DA changes are on the stack of things to be done, but the lack of ranking updates isn't related as far as I know. T-man was notified of it today, but he must not have had a chance to look at it yet.

T-man has checked on the metaverse and gotten the updates running again. So the rankings should be sorted out again and stay updated from tomorrow on.

I am now a Top 25 member (sorry can't resist singing my praises LOL) well at least until the next score degradation...
