Mother Nature Made Bottles for a Reason

http://www.alphamom.com/site/wonderland/2006/11/because_mother_nature_made_bot.html

I've never tried to link anything before, but this article had me cracking up.

"Another important issue surrounding public breastfeeding is safety. A local parks director finally made this clear, after a woman at a community pool wanted to stay and breastfeed her baby while her five year old was swimming. “When you see something like that, it draws people's attention from the pool. You kind of take a double take, triple take, then you sink to the bottom of the pool.”

Yes.

Breasts cause people to sink. In fact, women’s breasts are killing people all across the country. How many headlines do we need to see before we take action? “Nursing Mother Kills Twelve at Water Park.” “Local Man Views Nip, Drowns in Slurpee.” “Raised Eyebrows Caused By Breast Feeding Increase Chance of Headaches, Bad Moods, Brain Cancer.”

Nursing women are killers, and they must be stopped. "

I... just... can't... stop... laughing...

Thank you!  That was great!  It shows that even nerf balls are deadly in the wrong hands!

That was too funny. I hate to think how many accidents I caused while I nursed all three of my boys. Generally we were at home but there were times those pesky babies thought they needed nourishment when we were elsewhere. And the bit about Baba Wawa only getting only sawdust out of her boobies made me laugh so I hard I almost spit out my Dr. Pepper. I think the plastic surgeons should give me a portion of their profits for eye lifts since all those raised eyebrows had to later need cosmetic surgery. "Ma'am put the booby away and no one will get hurt."

Yeah, but what a way to go.

Hilarious!

If I didn't know better...I'd think Tex wrote that.

Very good.  The comments were a chuckle too.

Now, here's the deal, speaking as a man, and one whose wife is currently nursing our sixth child.

I personally find a woman's breasts attractive...except when they're feeding babies. I mean, that's called "function", people, and that is what they were MADE for...DEAL with it!

The funny thing is, my wife was the most prudish woman you'd ever meet...right up until she started nursing. She covers herself as best as the children would let her (mothers who've nursed know what I'm talking about here), but she doesn't really give a poop about running home to nurse just so that she doesn't offend.

By the way, I DID have someone in a chat once argue with me that formula was preferable to breast milk and that mothers who nursed their babies should be locked up for child neglect. Scary!

That's awesome. Haha. Remember folks, don't be lactose intolerant!

Gid: Congrats on the new baby!
