influence

Hey Dev team,

I think you have nerfed influence down way too much.

in the last several games I have played on 4 C version - I like owned 60 % of the map - totally surrounded my opponents and build all the bonus influences advances - but I had only 1 planet convert to my side the whole game - what gives???

I don't know why you are not getting better success out of influence, because I am getting planets to defect to me all the time. Maybe you just need to give it more time, or crank your influence up a little higher. There are social projects that "resist" influence. What about the galactic "influence" resources (the blue ones)? How many are there in your galaxy? How many have you built star bases on, and built mining upgrades on? How many has the AI built star bases on? Etc..

It's hard to quantify - I owned most of the blue galatic resources - and I have build many star bases with all the influence upgrades.
Could this be becasue I am evil (in the game - heh)?

I'm goign to upgrade to 4 D tonight and then try it out .
