SDCentral Question from a new Stardock Customer

Hi there,
excuse this quite simple (and maybe stupid) question, but waiting for GalCiv Release and reading all about the BonusPak and Window-Mode exe I was wondering how I get this stuff?
Am I assuming correctly that the Stardock-Central Client comes with my copy of GalCiv and I get a login with my serial number of the game? Or do I have to register somewhere extra and download the client?

And the manual is available online, incase you want to gear up for the gameplay. Also, feel free to ask any questions about the game to the beta testers...they seem more than happy to answer new posters.
