Was this supposed to be different?

I thought I read somewhere that they were improving the tech tree, replacing all of the "Laser I, Laser II, Laser III" stuff with something a bit better. But that seems unchanged in the DA beta?

The updated tech tree has not been put in yet. Brad said the build recieved by Gamespot for their preview had it, but it isn't in our beta yet.

Iam really glad the tech tree gets some update. I have such standard way of playing that I know my tech tree research pattern almost in my sleep

Btw. Has the research tree been reorganized or just the tech names changed?

One excellent feature that has been implemented is the ability to use the mouse wheel to zoom out of the tree in order to see more of it at once.

Has Brad said somewhere else that we'll see these milestones in the beta after all? That old post said
