Changing ObjectDock properties

Hey, I have two docks, one on the bottom has links to programs, and other shortcuts and whatnot as well as by default displaying icons for open windows (if I have word open it shows this).

On the left I have another dock with system related links (shutdown dialogue, find, run, control panel, etc.) By default this dock also shows open windows. I don't want to display this, can I open tabs (windows, whatever you want to call them) from this dock?

I'm confused what you want.

Both of the docks you have...are then Zoomer's or Tabbed Docks. Tabbed Dock require Object Dock Plus.

If I understand you correctly you want to not see window previews on the running tasks part of the dock. Open Dock settings > go to Effects > Then uncheck the option that states "Represent minimized Windows by their screenshot". That will take away the window preview.

Now if you have a tabbed dock on the left and want a new tab to be the taskbar, then right-click the tabbed dock > select Tabs > Add new tab > Add taskbar tab.

Hope that's what you want, if not..a little better description...or Screen shot would help.

What version of Object Dock. In version 1.5, right click dock you want to change behavior of, Dock settings, on settings dialog, in left panel Dock Contents, uncheck show running tasks. Can't remember if in older version Dock Content was in left panel or was under one of the other settings selections.
