Task pane

I have got a couple of visual styles from the net and have installed them using stylexp but some of them show the task pane on the right hand side of a folder, some at the top under the address bar, and some dont show it at all in folders.

So i was just wondering how to show it or change its position, I have skinstudio but cant see any option to switch it on or off or anything??

ANy help!

I don't believe you can modify stylexp skins with SKS - you can convert them and then modify the WB skin, but it's a one-way street, can't convert back to stylexp. Don't use stylexp so don't know enough to tell you more.

No I usually try to stay away from programs that hack the OS's .dll's.

All these programs allow you to hide the taskbar. I highly recommend a switch from StyleXP.

DesktopX

Object Bar

Object Dock

All three are completely skinnable/customizable.

ok i have tried applying the skin as a windowsblinds skin but the task pane is still not visable on one skin but is on another and underneath the address bar on another?

Any way to define where it is and to hide or show in skinstudio?

I believe stylexp must be uninstalled before installing/using Windowblinds. As for positioning the taskpane, someone else will need to chime in.
