Dread lords?

Ever since I updated to beta 2, I've been getting the dread lords as one of the major races. I'm assuming that's not intentional.

might have a chance to make 'dreadlords on parade' work by increasing their intelligence.

Meanwhile the rest of us have to be content with the dreadlords getting creamed by the other races before we even build our first dreadnaught!

well, the dread lords aren't acting incredibly intelligent. Mostly they mine asteroids and don't research anything.

A bit more detail - the dread lords do not appear on the list of available civilizations, but if I choose random races (as I usually do), they almost always end up as one of the races.

Update to latest DA beta 2 , they were never suppose to appear in the first place. Or atleast they have not been popping up in my games with latest beta. I assume this is fixed.

It still ahppens in beta 2. I even had a game where they surrendered to me after someone declared war on them just to return later in that same game. Not that it made a difference since they don't really arm themselves.

As I mentioned in my original post, I am reporting something that happens to me under Beta 2 (and if there was more than one version of Beta 2, I seem to have the latest). In fact, it never happened to me under Beta 1, but since I had crash issues with beta 1 I may just never have played a long enough game to see them.

This started happening to me in beta two as well. I off the dreadlords ASAP as a matter of principle.
