Do I really need to write a long article here?

How about I just keep this one short and ask the otherwise rhetorical question of just why the Hollywood Stars and Celebs that are out there adoptin' the world's kids (children) are apparently ignoring a lot of children that have needs here in the good ol' U.S.A.?

Foreign kids are de rigeur. Like French wines are to domestic ones among the shallow and born to impress people.

Actually, though, I'll say why I think it is. Dr. Guy almost hit on it.

I believe that foreign born kids are, to these celebrities, the equivalent of exotic animals. Their mindset is "hey! Instead of buying the reticulated python this year, why don't we go buy a little (insert preferred ethnicity here) kid! The one Brangelina bought over last year was to DIE for!"

In a world where everything can be bought, people are just so much more property.
