Useless Anomaly

Captains Log

The Captain's Log anomaly does absolutely nothing, in either game. I think the problem is in the description, where it says that when you upgrade the ship, it will gain experience. Why not just have it gain a level instantly? It can't hurt, since the flagship has no weaponry, and even on a gigantic map all the anomalies are long gone before any other ships can survey.

Once you have large ships you can upgrade your flagship. You can also build cargo survey ships, that I upgrade to large fighters espec if they have the captains log or equivalent. When used properly, it is quite useful.

Can you explain to an old man how to upgrade from one hull type to another? I gave it a try recently and I don't see where that is a possibility. If it can be done, I sure would like to know how.

Thanks.

The flagship is a medium hull, and can be upgraded to any other medium design as soon as you have the tech for it.

You can't for most ships. Cargo hulls and large hulls have the same base hp value, so they are interchangeable.

whoops, my bad... using a slight mod here

The problem I've had is that when I upgrade my flagship, it stays at 0 xp. I've done this twice since I started paying attention to it. Once again, why not just have it be immediate?

Too bad there is no option to select for no anomalies. Because why would anyone want to race for treasure when all the other contestants have maps??? stupid!

Another bad.

Cargo hulls have 1 HP, large hulls have 30 HP.
