My ship designs were not saved

I just loaded a savegame (DA beta 2A) to discover that all of the ship designs I had created during my last session had not been saved. All of my starports were still building ships that no longer had designs in the shipyard. This is the first time I have seen this happen.

Naturally, loading a new game destroyed my err.log from the previous session. I was playing as the Terrans, medium galaxy, if that is any help.

At the very least, please send the save to [email protected] for what it's worth. Even if the option to save them is off, they should still be retained within a single game.

Also please make sure you had the option 'on' on the game options screen. There is a new option to not save ship designs during gameplay. This could be the cause of the issue.

I'll do that when I get home tonight, Kryo, thanks. I don't remember whether I had that option on or off, but I had saved the game and found this problem after I reloaded; it should still save designs when you save your game, shouldn't it?

Another detail I didn't think to include last night was that I had just experienced the problem of the disappearing fusion power plant when building the power plant over another improvement. I had saved the game and reloaded to see if that would have any affect on the power plant issue. It doesn't; but could that be related to my unsaved ships?

I can confirm this happening to me as well. If i remember correctly, it happened for the first game i played after i installed the latest patch but hasn't happened since.

Oh yea also i had some trouble with upgrading ships - the upgraded version would revert back to the old one after saving. This problem seems to have fixed itself too.
