'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie' Details

Ubisoft has dropped some details on their upcoming game tie-in to the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, including the shockingly original title, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie. As with most tie-ins the title will try to reach the largest target possible, hitting almost all current game platforms (DS, GBA, Gamecube, PC, PS2, PSP, Xbox360, and Wii, with the absence of a PS3 mention) on March 13, just 10 days before the movie launches on March 23rd.

Ubisoft's Montreal and Quebec City studios will be developing the project and plan on incorporating a suite of enemies and environments from the movie and original comic books. The firm will also be adding in a bit of Prince of Persia gameplay to the mix with acrobatic navigation and including that extra 'Turtle Power' by way of team-up moves.

"The TMNT movie is all about the emotions associated with family and teenage angst," said Nick Harper, the game's creative director. "We've taken that philosophy and turned it into gameplay mechanics that will be fun and challenging."
