Great new feature in Windows Vista is " ReadyBoost " what this does is allow you to boost up your ram by using a Thumb ( Flash ) drive connecting to any USB(2)port .So give your Ram a boost , plug in a thumb drive ( the catch though ) is that the thumb drive " must be " of equal or greater value i.e. i'm running 2 gigs of ram so thumb drive must be atleast a 2 gig or higher - a windows pop-up will then appear ( windows does love it's pop-up's ) and ask you if you want to use this drive to boost your Ram , click on that - and it's like having a " Turbo-Charger " built right into your computer and you can pick-up a thumb drive for a song these days with most stores having a sale on them weekly .... You also have to re-run the performance index after making a change...I don't think the score dynamically updates.
