Can events be made to trigger other events?

For instance, can a moral dilemma be used to trigger other dilemmas based on your answer?

I would think events will have repercussions, that in turn will give you a differant perspective and set of needs; when new events arrive; encouraging you to make a differant decision than eff the first event had not happened, let alone the second. Just like in real life.

I chose to date my neighbor. Great lady but it didn't go for the distance. The next romantic endeavor I had new wants and needs as I saw them. My latest likes what I am and not centered on what I am not. If it haddn't of been for the neigbor I wouldn't of realized I needed that.
