Desktop X crashes every time I click New Script

Hopefully someone can help me with this. Every time I click on a widget's Script, New, Desktop X crashes. It doesnt' matter if it's is a new widget or something I've put some functionality into.

I've tried running Windows Script 5.6, I've tried creating exclusions to the realtime script monitoring on my antivirus, I've even tried turning off the av; none of these things worked.

Can anyone help me?

I have the same problem: every time I click "new script", be it for a widget or an object, desktopx throws a fatal exception. Please, does anyone have a fix for this?
