Burning GalCiv on CD

Is there any limitation about burning GalCiv on CD, once downloaded? It just costs less than buying it physically.

Í did something like that in the early beta to get it from my pathetic internet-connected computer to the not-quite-so-pathetic half-assembled computer on my floor during the early betas. The 'installation' is mostly just decompressing the downloaded files.

If the computer it's trasferred to gets internet access, the SDC won't recognize that it's installed, though and may make you redownload it the first time.

Once the flood gates open (3/26), SDC will be able to manage archiving Galciv for you. Copying that archive to a CD then would allow you to move it to another PC. Take a copy of SDC with you and install it on the new PC. Then use SDC to unarchive Galciv. (As described to us by Stardock, I have yet to try it, but I have seen the options in SDC to support it.)
