Rally Point pointer

Minor annoyance....when I go to set rally points the point gets set to the parsec that the tail of the pointer is in. It does not intuitively line up with the tip of the pointer like I expected. I got used to it after a bit but had to erase about half a dozen points because they got set in the wrong spot.

You know you can move these. It's quite a handy feature even once you get used to setting them in the right place. If you move instead of delete and create a new one all the ships that were heading towards it simply change course. Also, more importantly, all the planets that have it set as their rally point will continue to use the same point.

I generally set up an "attack" rally point that I use to stage my fleets for attack. Once I've finished conquering one opponent I move the rally point to set up for the next opponent. It's very convienient not to have to reset planet rally points.

Goodness gracious! What a wonderful tip! Thanks Mumble.

It really surprises me how much I still have to learn about this game even after I have played for so long.

That is excellent advice. I just started using "sliding"(as I call them) rally points the last couple games and it simplified things a lot.
