Wrong speed for new ships

When a new ship is built, speed bonuses are not applied for its first turn.
Example:
A ship with one impulse drive has a base speed of 3 (1 from hull, 2 from engine). The tech impulse drive gives a speed bonus of +1. (Why does it say +10 btw? And why is it listed in the speed ability as +10%?) When the ship is launched on the same turn it was built, its speed is only 3. In the next turn it has the correct speed of 4.

Good find on the speed issue, I did not even realize there was a problem like this. Open beta is definetly a good thing

Also I too wonder whats the logic with +10 speed with techs giving +1 speed. I hope these get polished away before DA final. These kinda obvious writing flaws give bad impression on otherwisely great game. Not because really cripple the game, but because as a player I sometimes feel at loss, because description text say this and the game rules other. Anybody remember how long the goverment type description texts were flawed

On a related not....Are space miners supposed to only have a speed of one? I loaded mine up with a couple of warp drives, I believe, and it still only has a move of one.

Any ship inside an Asteroid Field will have its moves reduced to 1. After the ship ends a turn outside the field, its moves should return to normal.

I've encountered a similar behavior each time I get a speed upgrade tech (impulse 1, warp 1, hyperwarp 1), and I believe the same is true of the grav accelerator trade good. In short, the bonuses are not applied on the first turn, perhaps because the evaluation of maximum moves for ships is evaluated before tech points are applied and tech(s) gained.

I can put together save games to demonstrate the behavior, if desired. All in all the one-turn-without-bonus is not that big a deal (for me at least), but if it's a bug it's a bug.

I'll have to double check if it was in an asteroid field or not. Honestly can't remember (though I did notice the asteroid fields reduced speed to one).
