New 'Sims' Franchise Launched
'The Sims Life Stories' Coming in February

Electronic Arts has announced another addition to the massive Sims franchise. Today's announcement details a new spin-off series called The Sims Stories which are to be "laptop-friendly games" featuring "engaging characters and easy-to-play storylines."
The first title will be The Sims Life Stories which will introduce and follow the stories of Riley Harlow and Vincent Moore in the all-new Story Mode. Players will be tasked with leading their Sims through the twelve chapters of "unique and entertaining storylines filled with romance, intrigue and dramatic twists."
"Everyone loves a good story. The Sims Life Stories gives players two wonderful romantic comedies to enjoy," declared Rod Humble, VP Head of Studio for The Sims Division. "For those who are interested in The Sims, The Sims Stories are accessible and fun for everyone."
The Sims Life Stories is set to ship on February 6, 2007 and will be followed by The Sims Pet Stories and The Sims Castaway Stories in Summer 2007 and Winter 2008 respectively. More information on them as it comes out.
