It made my windows always maximize full screen, instead of being on the taskbar.

Rightclick on the taskbar. Properties.
Third checkbox down, "Keep the Taskbar on top of other windows"

Oh, can't belive I missed that. Thanks, why does desktopx change that anyway?

because a lot of desktop themes don't use the windows bar since they supply their own
