IconX runs CPU at 100%

Do Stardock not provide any support for paid products apart from this forum? If so, that seems a bit disappointing.

I have a problem with IconX. When it is running, it bumps the CPU right up to 100% utilisation. Other applications will still run, but much more slowly.

I've updated my graphics drivers to the latest WHQL-approved ones (GeForce 6600GT), and I'm running a clean, recently installed XP SP2.

The high CPU utilisation is obviously not right, but I can't see how to solve the problem. I note in a previous thread that several other people have reported it, but no satisfactory resolution was posted.

Bearing in mind I've (we've) paid for this product, could someone from Stardock help? I'd be most grateful.

Do you have Active Desktop enabled or Web Content on the desktop?

Hit Control Alt Delete and look at all running processes and see if there is anything else driving up the CPU usage in the process.
