Dennis Rodman back at it - new reality TV coming

It may actually be worth watching just for the spectacle of it all

I'm not a big fan of reality TV, especially not trashy reality TV, and yet... like a moth to the flame, I may just have to give this one a check.

In a quick little blurb at USA Today, there's some news about Rodman and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban (or at least his TV network: HD-Net) teaming up for a new reality TV show that could be very, very interesting in a totally trashy sort of way.

Better description to come in here momentarily (see the comments area for details and a link), but suffice it to say if you know anything at all about Rodman, then you know this will be a completely strange and different experience.

This is Dennis Rodman (aka The Worm) that we are talking about, so just about anything should go, and should be expected, but the description below is a bit shocking.  Don't say you weren't warned.

From USA Today:

Mark Cuban's HDNet, the high-definition TV programmer whose on-air staff includes Dan Rather, will premiere Geek to Freak with Dennis Rodman on Feb. 16. We're not making this up: HDNet officially describes this show, where the ex-NBA star "takes ordinary people" and "pushes them to take on experiences," as Rodman taking "his devilish turn at outing a secretary as a stripper, a construction worker as a cross-dresser — taking his volunteers into bondage, oil wrestling, sex, drugs, rock 'n roll — even pimping!" Cuban, the Dallas Mavericks owner, promises the show takes Rodman's "freakiness to new levels." And it's about time.
