Sabotage bug

I noticed that when you trade a trade good and then sabotage the tile on the planet that produced it, it does not stop the benefit to the party that received the trade good from the trade.

I traded Micro repair bots from the AI and later in the game put a spy on it to sabotage.
After checking my stats these still included the additional increase i received and sabotaging had no impact.

When you buy a trade good, you are buying the license to produce it yourself, meaning that anything you do to the original production facility will have no effect on your stats.

Then why allow the possibility to put a spy on that trade good tile if it's not going to work. I heard that you can't put spies on certain things like starports or initial colonies? Shoudn't it be the same for micro repair tiles?

As far as I know, trade good tiles are open to attack. Now that I think about it, it seems a little unfair to the AI, in that I can attack his trade tiles, but there is nothing that it can do to affect the goods that I have traded for. Sabotaging the micro repair bots good probably wouldn't do much damage to the AI, but shutting down something like harmony crystals could potentially throw that empire into revolt.
