Please refresh my Metaverse memory

more importantly, did I do this right?

Okay, I just started my first Metaverse game, or at least I believe I did. Started up DA, hit the Meta tab, picked my character and started a game. First turn, did the usual stuff, saved game and quit. Now I'm back in here to see if I did this right. If I am good from here, I can play my game offline, finish it, save it and then submit? I remember Mumblefratz saying that your first game on the Meta is really your second.
Forgive me for the ? but I'm at home and w/dial up it's taking an eternity to search the forum for the thread (pages loading are like molasses in Vermont... SLOW)
Thanks people.
edit: I think I found it guys. From the way it looks, I should be okay with what I did.

You should be good to go. May you find lots of economic resources.

You could do a quick test if you want to make sure. Just retire after one turn and see if the game submits, that way if it doesn't you haven't lost much. You can then later resubmit the same game (AFAIK you're supposed to be able to do this once), or you could submit and then clear the scores of your character.

One thing I don't know is if you can do both things which is submit a game, clear the scores then submit the same game again. If you have a particularly good starting position that you don't want to give up, you could simply start another MV game, play a turn, retire, submit, then clear scores.
