What do all the logos mean?

I may have been overlooking this, but where can I find what all the medals, and icons mean that are listed next to the name of people (both in Metaverse and on the forum?)

Go to galciv website > metaverse > click on legend on the left side

oh.. and the logo on the far left is the empire logo

Also, just hover your mouse over the icons and a pop-up text box will appear to describe the icon.

yeah I see that mouseover effect in SDC now, but I didn't see it in Opera.... yes I know I'm one of those rebellious Opera users.
