Cant get Skinstudio to recognize Type 1 fonts.

It dont see em'

I'm using a type 1 font for my new WB and I really like it...but Skinstudio dosnt see it in the skin folder.

How do I get it to recognize the font so it will install with the skin?I tried adding it manually but no luck.

Are you sure the problem is with Skinstudio? I have had Paint shop pro crash because of wierd fonts. I had to delete the font for things to work again.
I always have to manually install fonts I download. Maybe you have to do that to see it available in SKS. I run into that all the time.

Some info here- WWW Link

Skinstudio dosnt care if a font is installed on the system(tho in my case it is)...thats why the feature is there...to install fonts the downloader may not have.
It just isnt seeing this one and I suspect its because its a type 1(I think they are Adobe fonts)I dont have this prob with truetype or opentype.

I know that sometimes a few people have to install fonts manually with a WB,but usually this feature works fine.

I could tell folks to install the font in my skin description...but you know how many actually READ those.

The link I left I.R. says ....

Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT and Windows Me do not support Type 1 fonts natively. Adobe Type Manager is needed in order to use these fonts on these operating systems. Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista support Type 1 fonts natively through GDI calls. The Windows Presentation Foundation introduced in Windows Vista, which is also available for Windows XP however drops support for Type 1 fonts, in favor of Type 2 fonts.

Since WB started before XP I assume SKS doen't support type 1 fonts but just a guess.
