Free graphic software

Please

Is there any free graphic software out on the Internet that i can use for making skins that is better than Windows Paint. (you know the free program that comes with windows under the accessories tab of programs.) I do not have enough money.

Try Gimp http://www.gimp.org/ It has many of the features of expensive graphics programs and it's completely free!

And I think Paint .net is free.

To use paint.net you need to have net framework installed on puter - if you don't have it already look for the download link at the paint.net website that includes the net framework. I think you will be happy with this free program - it has lots of good features that windows paint doesn't have. GIMP has more to offer but its good to have more than one program.

Also try Deep Paint or Ultimate Paint. These can be found at cnet.com. There is one more that is not as pretty and is just a step above mspaint called Brush. It's simplistic and supports transparencies. There are quite a few out there. Here are some more examples: Serif Draw Plus,3d Screen Creator, 3DC by Amabalis, Fractal Draw Plus to name a few. Here'a the link...WWW Link...enjoy.

Heres a couple of links to websites that have gathered together the best there is in free programs on the wwweb. You should be able to find anything you need with these websites. I must confess that in the past i have used a lot of pirated software, the likes of Adobe, Macromedia, Microsoft etc... but i have now got a piracy free machine with all the programs i will ever need, for free. And since finding these websites i dont see any reason why i ould ever use pirated software again in the future... I feel a lot better about it too, so have a browse and enjoy!

Older versions of Paintshop Pro [about 4 or 5] were/are available for free download.  It was at the time when the full ver was also released to Computer Mag CDs....

I'll see if I can dig up a link....

Hmmm...might be discontinued...was a fair while ago....

Jafo I never knew that There were old versions of PaintSHop Pro at all here is a link to oldversion.com WWW Link

Also found on oldapps.com

I haven't attempted to download these but my understanding is that if the version is not free you must included a serial # etc. as you would any other program.
