Campaign details?

And before you ask my search for 'Campaign' returned 0 results.

So, what's happening with the campaign?

Is it just from the TEC Point of view (making the Vasari and Advent the "bad guys") or is there one for all three races. How long can we expect it to be?

I apologise if this has all been done before but I haven't found information on it anywhere else so please humour me.

I'm hoping for an all 3 view.

so long as it isn't terrible (*cough* Earth 2070)
earth wasn't terrible, its just taht you THINK you completed the game, and its like "awesome, thank god". and then you realize FUCK I"M ONLY 3/4 DONE! and it was just not worth it. they basically brought the game to a close, simply to open it a new one and start all over again (except that now you work for the bad guys)

It's a sandbox game so the player makes most of the story.

I think they said they were working towards sandbox, but they weren't certain.

and that doesn't mean you can't play from all 3 viewpoints.

Me too, but sandbox is more important. It gives you countless campaigns, admitedly with much less immersion.

Yeah the campaign isn't too crucial, but I was thinking with the amount of lore they've established that there would be a story in the game. I'm a sucker for a good yarn.

I am pretty sure that they woulnd try to create an entirely new universe(with a backstory) to screw up on the campaign.

I am equally sure that they wouldn't create a new universe then NOT advance the story in game.

from what we've known sofar from each race. here are my campaign theory's, tec will defend both fronts from the vasari's locust like expansion running from unkown threats to advents revengeful animosity against the tec. as for advent they will be returning for revenge towards the tec and will get cought up with tec and vasari war so the campaign for these 2race will follow accordingly.

then playing as vasari, you just doing the samething you've been doing for the last 10,000yrs wich is running scared from the unknown wich i'll call the "x" threat for now. but during your streak of subjegations you run into some troubles with the tec wich has lead to stalemate victory's as well as facing the advent's for your advancement of offensive stance "offensive" because your on the defence from whom your running from, offensive stance on other race is a more meaningful strategic tactic in order to keep running.

wouldn't it be cool and wouldn't it make more sense if it where all in this sequence?

Well yes, they had a prophecy that stated that one day they would return to seek revenage and make a journey across the stars blah blah blah. But it wasnt acted upon untill they started to run out of the crystals.

their reasons for attacking the TEC are purely prophetical/revenge. otherwise they would simply just take a far less military-conflict path, there are plenty of galaxies the TEC don't have.

I think this is all happening in uno galaxy. And no your wrong, it strictly says that in the lore section. Probably the crystal cant be obtained anywhere else.

it says that the crystal famine sparked their beliefs in the coming of the prophecy, and that they are expanding because they need the crystals, but never that they attack the TEC for the crystals.


or at least thats how I remember it, you're free to check.

I never said they attacked TEC for the crystals. I said they attacked them cause the TEC were first off enemies, and second of all probably occupying worlds with crystal reserves.

Though I am sure that we cant really argue this one way or the other its been ages since the history has been updated.
