more website oddness

i noticed that the website now keeps me logged in on the main page, which is good.
if you're logged in on the main page, the my posts/watch list/my account buttons appear. if i click on watch list, it takes me to my watch list, but if i click on one of those forums using that method, it sends me back to the main page 90% of the time.
i have to use the forums button, then click on watch list, then click on a forum to actually get there through my watch list.
very odd; thought i'd mention it.
