Exchanging Saved Games

Is it possible to exchange saved games to other players to see if they could have faired any better?

Yes, AFAIK saved games can be used by anyone provided tehy're using the same mods (if any) and version of the game. Note though that if the save is from a metaverse game, they won't be able to submit the score since the game was started under another player's account.
